Support for Youth

Support for Youth

In its commitment to addressing the unique needs of youth and young adult within refugee communities, RRS implements targeted support programs aimed at empowering these individuals during a critical phase of their lives. The organization recognizes that adolescence is a pivotal time for identity formation and skill development. Therefore, RRS provides life skills training, preparing older youth for independence and integration into their new communities. This training encompasses practical skills such as job readiness, language proficiency, and navigating societal norms, equipping them with the tools needed for a successful transition to adulthood.

Moreover, RRS goes beyond individual support by fostering a sense of community and connection among refugee youth. Through initiatives that promote social interaction, cultural exchange, and collective activities, the organization helps create a supportive network for these individuals. By actively involving them in decision-making processes and advocacy efforts, RRS empowers youth to contribute to shaping their own futures and advocates for policies that address their unique challenges. This comprehensive approach underscores RRS's commitment to not only meeting the immediate needs of refugee youth but also nurturing their potential and resilience as they navigate the complexities of displacement and resettlement.
