About Board of Director
RRS is governed by a Board of Directors, composed of volunteer men and women with diverse personal and educational experiences. The Board serves as the highest governing body and decision-making authority for RRS. Their responsibilities include:
- Establishing the organization's vision, mission, and purposes.
- Identifying and appointing qualified personnel, such as the Executive Director.
- Creating a strategic plan and setting long and short-term goals
- Monitoring and managing financial resources, including conducting an annual audit through an audit committee.
- Recruiting new board members based on skill assessment.
- Overseeing legal compliance and establishing policies and a code of conduct to maintain the organization's integrity.
- Evaluating the work of the Executive Director.
- Individually understanding and being accountable for the organization's purpose and mission statement.
